"Where there is no vision, the people perish" - Proverbs 29:18b

"A Great Commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission will grow a Great Church"

Our vision is to see a great harvest reaped for God in our target area of Bellevue, Tennessee and its' surrounding communities. We want to see people won to Christ, discipled and growing in their Christian life. We want to see small groups from New Beginnings Church spread throughout Bellevue and the surrounding communities.

We see a church which is uncomplicated, casual and genuine with people. A church which cherishes people above programs. One which seeks to glorify God by magnifying and lifting up His living, inerrant Word -- The Bible. A church which prepares people by teaching them the Word and helping them discover and use their spiritual gifts. This will lead us to becoming a church of tremendous evangelism.

We dream of a church where worship is a priority. A church which advances the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We desire to have an encouraging and inspiring worship program where people will be touched and filled with the presence of God's Holy Spirit in their lives.

We see a church where needs are met through the priesthood of believers, where hurting people are healed. A real, serving church, one that has a servant philosophy. A church where the unchurched feel wanted, needed and welcome. The real test of our Christian faith is the love demonstrated by the individual in his daily life (1 Corinthians 13:1-13).

We see a non-traditional church which will reach out to those that older traditional churches are not reaching. One where everyone feels welcome regardless of their age. A church with a casual, come-as-you-are, spirit, with uplifting music and challenging messages. All under the leadership of a pastor and leaders, who seek the mind of Christ and the body of Christ, in order to make godly, Spirit-led decisions. A church where participation and voting are encouraged that all might be a part of the decision-making process of the body of believers.

We dream one day of building a worship center, with beautiful yet efficient facilities, a family recreational center, classrooms for Bible study and training lay ministers, all designed to minister to the total person - spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and socially.

We also dream of planting 5-10 more churches in the Nashville, Middle-Tennessee area, training and supporting the home-mission pastor as he carries out God's plan of reproduction. We also desire our congregation and each daughter church to raise up, train, send out and support full-time missionaries to carry God's message to the "utter most parts of the world".

We believe in these dreams, and we believe that we can realize them.
Why? Because they are inspired by God.

Our Purpose Statement: To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christlike maturity, and equip them for ministry in the church and life mission in the world, resulting in the magnifying of God's name.
